Memorized collects only what it needs to make and deliver your tile, run the giveaway and answer you. This policy explains how we handle your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You can reach us, including our information officer, at info@memorized.co.za.

We never see your full card details. Yoco handles card payments through Shopify's checkout. A screenshot can show personal details such as a home address or a running route, so please only upload what you're happy for us to use.
Marketing. We only send marketing emails if you ask for them, such as by ticking the box at checkout, or as the giveaway terms describe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with. We don't sell your information. We share only what each provider needs:
- Shopify, for our store, checkout, order and customer records, and your screenshots
- Yoco, for payments
- Aramex and The Courier Guy, for delivery
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Resend, for sending some of our emails, such as founder codes and early access details
- TikTok and Instagram, only in that we check public activity for giveaway entries
- Our professional advisers or authorities, if the law requires it
Information sent abroad. Some of these providers store or process information outside South Africa. By using our site and services, you understand this may happen. We use established providers that protect information under their own terms.
How long we keep it.
- Orders: 5 years, for tax and accounting records
- Screenshots and tile details: 12 months after delivery, in case you need help with your tile
- Giveaway records: at least 3 years, as the giveaway terms explain
- Emails: for as long as we need them to help you
How we protect it. We keep private keys and customer records off public web pages and limit who can see them. Your screenshot is stored at a long, hard-to-guess web link, which is only shared with people working on your order. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Your rights. You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it or stop using it, and you can object to direct marketing. Email us and we'll reply within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. Leaving the giveaway before the draw withdraws your entry.
Children. Our store and giveaway are for people aged 18 or over.
Complaints. Please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes. We'll post any changes here, with a new date.
